The Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night unveiled their 2021 Super Bowl rings featuring what the team said is the most carat weight in the history of a sports championship ring.
Furthermore, the rings were unveiled in a private ceremony the night before the Rams’ coaching staff is scheduled to report to training camp in Irvine, California.
On top of that, five months ago, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-20, to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl while representing Los Angeles. Receiver Cooper Kupp won Super Bowl Most Valuable Player.
But the big games were had by many on head coach Sean McVay’s squad, including quarterback Matthew Stafford and defensive lineman Aaron Donald. Odell Beckham, who was injured in the Super Bowl and is currently a free agent, was noticeably in attendance to get his ring.
Pass rusher Von Miller, who is now a Buffalo Bill, was also in attendance.

Top of the 2021 Rams Super Bowl Ring
Looking at the top of the ring features the Los Angeles Rams’ logo made up of blue and yellow sapphires, the Lombardi trophy and two palm trees.
Under the removable top of the ring is a view of SoFi Stadium, surrounded by a piece of a Super Bowl LVI game ball. The field underneath the roof is made up of remnants of the SoFi Stadium turf from the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
Each ring has approximately 20 carats of white diamonds set on white and yellow gold, to represent the official opening of SoFi Stadium in 2020.

Inside of the Super Bowl Ring
Seriously. They built a tiny version of SoFi Stadium inside the ring, revealing it when you unscrew the removable top.
The main part of the ring shows the field, and the underside of the top shows the infinity screen.
Each ring has pieces of turf from 2020 and 2021, and the Super Bowl game ball
In each ring, there are green remnants of turf from the 2020 and 2021 seasons, including parts from Super Bowl LVI.
Additionally, there are pieces of the Super Bowl game ball, which can be seen on the underside of the top portion.
A nice little touch to pay homage to SoFi Stadium.

Rams’ 26 postseason wins in franchise history are recognized in the palm trees
In the two palm trees next to the Lombardi, there are .26 carats of diamonds. Those .26 carats match the number of playoff wins the Los Angeles Rams have in franchise history, 26.

Ring Ceremony
On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Rams unveiled their Super Bowl LVI rings.
Furthermore, this ring represents the LA Rams first Super Bowl win and the second overall for the franchise. Back in 2000, when the team resided in St. Louis, the “Greatest Show on Turf” squad captured the Lombardi Trophy.
In the pre-merger era, the Rams won two NFL Championships, in 1945 as the Cleveland Rams and again in 1951 as the Los Angeles Rams.
The ring ceremony should give the team a lift as they head into training camp and prepare to defend their title. They will need all motivation they can muster to capture a Super Bowl repeat, it hasn’t been done in nearly 20 years and only eight time since the 1966 merger.
2003-04 New England Patriots

Camp is only a week away and only one NFL team can join this sterling group, the Los Angeles Rams, sporting their new championship rings.
