This Shaq 2001 Los Angeles Lakers NBA Championship Ring was given to the Lakers players and staffs after the team defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 4-1 in the NBA Finals. Shaq was named the Finals MVP.

For the second year in a row, the Lakers chose Henry Kay of Chicago to design their championship ring. The ring is made of 14k gold paved with yellow diamonds on the background.

Furthermore, this was the first and only ring at that time to use yellow diamond on an NBA Championship Ring.

Designed inspiration from a bezel setting, it has the words ‘World Champions’ encircling the side of the shank.

Also, with word ‘Back Back Back’ representing the three consecutive victory of the franchise. Also, the 3 smaller trillion cut diamond around the center gemstone also represents the 3rd consecutive victory.
